Susan Joy Rennison believes that those who seek enlightenment can do so with it costing a small future and the cost of a book is not beyond the means of most people. Those people who have "got the message" are then under some obligation to enlighten others who don't necessarily have the same means or opportunity, but seek enlightenment too.

In discussing enlightenment, we refer to the individual's gradual increase of truth, knowledge and wisdom, which are are all frequencies of light. An analogy would be a light bulb, the light may be on but the brightness is a completely different matter. The light is capable of getting stronger and stronger. This website is a guru free-zone and the emphasis is about teaching and helping each other to evolve. "Knowledge is power", but in the world we live in today, knowledge is often used to disempower the masses for the benefit of the few. Self-empowerment and empowering others means bringing up the mass consciousness of humanity to a level where the truth is paramount and lies and deceit are no longer acceptable. This is the basic philosophy at Joyfire.

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.

Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumoured by many.

Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.

Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.

Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.

But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

Susan Joy has experienced a remarkable personal journey in bringing this book to the world and at times there have been tears of joy and tears of frustration.
